Fire Safety:
- Upon arrival, please take note of the fire exits and staircases located on the back of your guestroom door. Additionally, fire alarm pull stations and fire extinguishers are available on each floor. In the event of a fire, please stay calm, pull the nearest fire alarm, close doors around the fire area, contact the operator, and evacuate the building, remembering to take your room key with you.
Key Safety:
-
Please ensure the safeguarding of your room key and return it to the front desk upon departure. Avoid leaving your key in the room or giving it to others.
Smoke Safety:
-
If your room becomes filled with smoke, use a wet towel to cover your nose and mouth. Crawl to the door on your hands and knees, checking the doorknob for heat before opening. If the hallway is also smoky, crawl next to the wall, counting the doors as you make your way to the exit staircase. Remember to take your room key with you.
Additional Door Security:
-
Enhance the security of your room by utilizing the deadbolt lock provided upon entering. Furthermore, please engage the safety latch for added precaution.
Earthquake Safety:
-
In the event of an earthquake, stay calm and seek cover under a table or desk to protect yourself from falling objects. Avoid using matches or lighters, and stay away from windows and mirrors. Do not run outside or use elevators. When leaving your room, wear sturdy shoes, and if possible, take your valuables and necessary medications with you. Refrain from using telephones except for extreme emergencies and avoid touching broken or fallen wires. If exit doors are inaccessible, wait for rescue teams and be prepared for aftershocks.
Visitor Identification:
-
Exercise caution when admitting individuals to your room. Always verify their identity and contact the front desk if any doubts arise.
